Drivers Education at Heartland Park
April 27 - April 28
Porsche Club Drivers Education and Club Race Weekend (April 27-28, 2019)
There 2 primary aspects of the weekend which takes place at Heartland Motorsports Park in Topeka KS.
One is a Drivers Education (DE) program where participants of various experience levels learn to drive their car on the race track. At this particular event, there are 3 levels of experience being offered. Novice, with in car ride along Instructor, Intermediate solo, and Advanced solo. Each of these will have their own “run group” and will be on track for 4 sessions each day. Sign up information is available at http://www.kcrpca.org and http://www.clubregistration.net
The second are the Porsche Club Races, which consists of Porsche race cars in a multitude of different classes. There are practice, qualifying and sprint race sessions for these licensed competitors.
In addition, during the lunch hour, we conduct a 5 lap parade lap session during which participants can drive their car on the track for a $20 donation to the club’s charity. This is a slow speed tour of the track.
The Drivers Education and Track Tours are open to Teslas (Club Racing is Porsche Only)
