The club is acquiring a new tent for club activities such as car shows, social gatherings, etc. We need your help to raise the funds to pay for the tent. We have set up a PayPal donate button on the Home Page of this website, in the footer of every page and here in the forum. Simply click the Donate button and you can donate using PayPal or any credit card. We have a special prize for the highest donor. This fall Tesla is having an exclusive factory tour and 2 day private conference. We have a spot reserved at this conference for our highest donor. (You still have to pay your own airfare and hotel, admission, etc. but we’ve set aside a spot that would normally only go to the club president or VP, etc.)

Dates: 11-13 October 2018
Thursday, 11 Oct: Check-in ~12pm at the venue (for badges and NDAs), Factory tours during the day (1-3pm), and group reception/dinner in the evening
Friday, 12 Oct: Meetings and workshops (10am-5pm), with breakfast before and dinner after
Saturday, 13 Oct: Breakfast de-brief and action items in the morning
We are still finalizing speakers and tracks for Friday and will be sharing that info shortly.
The Leadership Summit will be held at the Embassy Suites – Milpitas/Silicon Valley. The hotel is about 10 minutes from the Tesla factory and well located if you want to extend your trip and explore the Bay Area.

The tent is 15′ x 10′ and is printed on high quality materials with their sturdiest hex shaped aluminum frame and transport bag with wheels. Total cost was around $1300, and so far I think we’ve only taken in $500-$600 in member dues, and we want to reserve some of those for a holiday party, etc. so we are hoping to raise between $750-$1000 in donations if possible.
